Guidelines for Completing Annual Reporting

If you are completing your Academic Program Review (APR):

    1. The Executive Summary section should contain a brief history of your program, when it was established and what you consider to be major milestones and accomplishments of the program. You may wish to include information about the program’s contributions to the institution, public or community service that a program has provided, teaching, research, and creative activities of faculty, and international activities in which program faculty, staff, and students are involved.

This section will be brought forward to future years automatically so that once you enter what you’d like to say, there will be no need for re-entry. This section may also be edited in the future as appropriate.

    1. The next sections, ask you to report for the current Academic Year (AY). Data from each year will be stored in the system and reported when you request the APR report. Entering data for the current academic year during each yearly cycle will allow this information to be tracked over the usual 5 or 7 years between reviews.

For your convenience, as this is the first year of automating the process, templates have been provided so that you may enter the requested data for previous academic years at this starting point. These templates can be completed and stored in the document repository or pasted into the reporting area as you choose.

    Reporting Templates:

    Organizational Structure
    Faculty Composition History
